Commercial leases

The firm assists landlords and tenants at every stage in the life of a commercial lease. It drafts and negotiates commercial leases, short-term (derogatory) leases and temporary occupancy agreements, and acts in the assignment of leases and leasehold rights.

The firm also assists its clients in disputes concerning commercial leases and premises: renewal and refusal to renew, notices to quit, eviction compensation, enforcement of termination clauses, allocation of service charges and works, condition and compliance of the premises.

Finally, it handles commercial rent matters, whether three-yearly rent reviews, the operation of indexation clauses or the setting of the rent of the renewed lease, including claims to lift the rent cap, both before the commercial rents judge and in amicable negotiations.
