Browsing. Browsing the site does not require you to provide any personal data. The hosting server automatically records technical logs (IP address, pages viewed, date and time, browser type) necessary for the operation and security of the site (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are kept for a maximum of twelve months.
Contact form. When you use the contact form, the data you provide (name, company, email address, telephone number, subject and content of your message) is processed in order to respond to your request and, where applicable, to arrange a first meeting (pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). This data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and, in the absence of a contractual relationship, deleted within twelve months.
Applications. When you apply through the “Join the firm” form, the data you provide (name, email address, telephone number, position and office sought, message and, where applicable, your CV) is processed solely to assess your application (pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). It is sent exclusively to the firm’s managing partner and handled in confidence. If you are not recruited, it is kept for a maximum of two years after the last contact, unless you ask for it to be deleted earlier.
Emails and telephone calls. Direct exchanges with the firm are covered by the lawyer’s professional secrecy (Article 66-5 of the Law of 31 December 1971) and processed as part of the management of the firm’s files.
Data is intended solely for the firm’s lawyers and staff authorised to process it. It is hosted by OVH SAS (Roubaix, France); the firm’s email service is provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd (Microsoft 365), whose servers for European customers are located in the European Union. Data is never sold or used for commercial or advertising purposes.
The site uses no advertising, analytics or social-media cookies. No fonts, maps or videos are loaded from third-party servers when you view the pages. Only the contact form may use a strictly necessary session token to protect against automated submissions, which is exempt from consent. The “Get directions” links open an external mapping service, subject to its own privacy policy, only if you click on them.
Exchanges with the site are encrypted (HTTPS). The firm implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, alteration or unauthorised access.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to set directives regarding your data after your death. You may exercise these rights by email at contact@gomondavocats.com or by post at the firm’s address, providing proof of identity. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority (CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr).
This policy may be amended to reflect legal or technical changes. Last updated: 21 October 2026.
